Warriewood to Narrabeen Loop
Start from the car park overlooking Warriewood Beach. Walk south along Narrabeen Park Parade to Turimetta Reserve and the lookout. Go back to the stairs and walk to the top of Turimetta Reserve. Proceed down the track to the right, and you will have a wonderful view of Turimetta Beach.
At the end of the track turn left into Narrabeen Park Parade again, to the round-a-bout at the bottom. Go left, then right at the caravan park, walking along the edge of the lagoon. Here you will see waterbirds and people paddling, and rowing on the water.
Cross the bridge and turn left into Waterloo Street. Here are a variety of shops and cafes. Continue along Waterloo Street, crossing Lagoon and Ocean Streets until you reach the beach. It stretches from Collaroy to North Narrabeen.
Go back to Ocean Street and walk to North Narrabeen with its world famous surf break. Cross Narrabeen Lagoon Bridge and go up the wooden stairs to the right. Take the track to the right and you arrive at the lookout on Narrabeen Headland. This magnificent view extends all the way to Long Reef.
On the way back to Warriewood walk along the top of the cliffs above Turimetta Beach, with its many beautiful homes.
This is a walk of about 8 kilometres. However you can start or finish wherever you like.
